A family since the 19th century
A line of winemakers in Cournou. Our family farm became the EARL Clos de Pougette in 1998 — five generations rooted in this same soil.
Causses du Lot
Stony limestone and red clay soils, south-facing exposures, varied altitudes — a mineral terroir of rare character.
A signature of the estate
Our pigs tend the vineyard
Several pigs help keep our rows clean. They graze between the vines, naturally limit weed growth, fertilize the soil, and replace some of the diesel-heavy mechanical work — fewer fumes, more life. A rare practice, deeply tied to our organic commitment.
